Performance about communication differences across generations
A group of young people from the Drop Inn worked with a few elderly people to make a promotional video based on communication. It showed how young people communicate through text and mobile phones while elderly people meet in the street, have a cup of tea and a chat - real socialising. The film section was followed by a live performance using djembe drums and poi (different methods of communication). The performance was done at Derbyshire County Council Headquarters at the VCI celebration event.
